Dear Oaklanders and Friends:

Thank you for visiting my website to learn more about my passion for Oakland. As your At-Large City Councilmember, I’ll bring my life experiences, fresh energy, and new ideas to making our neighborhoods healthier, stronger, and safer.

As someone who lost both parents before finishing high school, I understand what it means to feel unheard, unsafe, and insecure about basic resources we should all have access to affordable and safe housing, jobs, and an end to gun violence no matter what zip code we live in.  

Throughout my journey of public service as an optician, job coach, classroom teacher, constituent services coordinator, and State Legislative District Director, I have been focused on one thing: Getting Results for the community we love.

Oaklanders are suffering a crisis of confidence with the challenges we face. Working together, we can and will solve them.  Join me!
